What is Mr. Beaver County?
Welcome to Mr. Beaver County 2024!
Mr. Beaver County is an annual scholarship competition held by The Prevention Network.
Every year we ask the gentlemen students of Beaver County to apply for our three scholarship awards.
The Third Place award is $250 from our sponsor The Ninth Reward Recovery House, the Second Place award is $500 from our sponsor Clearview Federal Credit Union, and the First Place award is $1000.
We cannot be more excited for Spring as we anticipate the pure talent and excellence of all of our Mr. Beaver County Contestants.

Mr. Beaver County contestant Requirements
This year's competition will consist of five components; three must be submitted no later than April 12th 2024. The remaining components will be judged live at the Mr. Beaver County Event, on May 9, 2024 .
Due by April 12, 2024:
1. A reference from a school faculty/staff member (this can be a brief email).
2. Video Presentation: Showcase your talent! Music, dance, poetry, photography, comedy, acting, art, etc. Your video should be under 5 minutes. Your talent idea/video must be approved by your sponsor.
3. Anti-Drug Message: Create an original, Positive, Anti-Alcohol & other Drug poster. The message should focus on paths to a drug free future. The key is to be creative!
- Poster size 11 x 18, should be submitted in jpeg form.

To be judged live on May 9, 2024:
4. Introduction: Tell us about yourself! Be sure to include: family, school involvement, and community interests and activities. No longer than one minute!
5. Fish Bowl Questions: Each contestant will draw random questions from a fish bowl and will have thirty seconds to answer.
HOW TO APPLY:
Step 1: Complete and Submit this initial form by MIDNIGHT, APRIL 1, 2024. This will allow the Mr. BC committee to contact your sponsor by email to obtain a brief character reference.
Step 2: Upon receipt of this form the Mr. BC committee will be in contact with you. A link will then be provided to upload your Video Presentation and Anti-Drug Message. These submissions must be received no later than MIDNIGHT on APRIL 12, 2024.
