Mr. Beaver County is an annual scholarship competition held by The Prevention Network.
Every year we ask the gentlemen students of Beaver County to apply for our three scholarship awards.
The Third Place award is $250, the Second Place award is $500, and the First Place award is $1000.
We ask that all participants answer a Public Service Announcement (PSA), usually pertaining to all things prevention. This year we had each contestant enter a PSA that show how to prevent substance misuse and live "drug free" All of the contestants work hard to compete in this scholarship competition yearly.
Another part of the contest is a talent video. We ask that the contestants enter a video showing off their best talents. From woodworking, to singing, to musical numbers, and so much more the contestants never cease to wow our judges and our entire committee.
The final requirement is a video resume telling our committee "who you are". We love the connection and dedication of the students that give us just a glimpse into their very busy and extremely talented lives. All of our staff enjoys sharing the passion and dedication of every contestant.
We cannot be more excited for Spring as we anticipate the pure talent and excellence of all of our Mr. Beaver County Contestants.
